The igogo Academy offers modular, one-year courses in equine assisted therapy leading to qualification as an equine assisted therapist.
Four seminar modules, spread over one year and lasting one week each, provide the framework for the presentation of comprehensive theoretical and practical content relating to horseback riding therapy. The programme also includes intensive equestrian instruction including horse training and care.

The dates and frequency of the training courses are set according to demand. Each course is limited to a maximum of 12 participants in order to ensure the best possible learning conditions.
The igogo team of instructors includes a horseback riding therapist, two veterinary surgeons, an equine physiotherapist, a graduate educational scientist, a horse trainer and the director of a stud farm who is also an experienced Iberian riding instructor.
The one-year course costs 4,650.00 euros including comprehensive learning material. The 1½-year course for people without sufficient previous experience for the one-year course costs 4,950.00 euros.

In 2011 the ESF – European Social Fund for Germany is providing support to people applying to join igogo's equine assisted therapy courses if they meet certain conditions.
Amongst others, these include being resident in the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg. The EFS pays 30% of the course fees for qualifying students (and those over 50 years of age receive as much as 50%).
